AMAZING!!!!! Although the book is long, Di Toft knew how to draw you in as a reader from Page 1! Taking only 2-3 days to finish the book. This book included very advanced, powerful words/phrases as well as a good range of similes, metaphors, personification and connectives. I've never read a book by this author before and am very glad that Wolven was my first. Can't wait to read more Di Toft books! Definatley 5/5!!!!!!

This is a very interesting book which is about a boy called Nat who buys a dog. The dog, who is really a wolf, , is called woody and is "wolven" a wolf who can shape-shift into a human. I enjoyed this book and it was my best so far! I'd vote it 10/5 if i could

Megan from Alwoodley Primary School
I can honestly say that this book was amazing and when I rated it 5/5 I had no doubts at all! Normally I don't read adventure books, but this was a really witty, imagainitive book and seriously I COULD NOT PUT IT DOWN! I read it in about 2 days, taking it with me everywhere, and even secretly reading it during lessons (When the teacher wasn't looking). The ending wasn't quite what I expected- but infact just a WHOLE LOT GREATER!
At first I thought the wicked front cover was just to lure people into buying the book, but infact the story beats the front cover and is great. I think I MAY know who I might vote for! ;)
So top marks DI TOFT I have never read any of your books before and I am so glad it was WOLVEN that I read first. I look forward to reading more of her books!

James from ST Marys C OF E SCHOOL BOSTON SPA
I really enjoyed Wolven because of the amazing storyline. The author gave me a great description of the characters feelings and emotions. He has also taken a real, life situation of someone being bullied and put it into a twisting and turning tale of adventure. However I think he's let the book down by not giving me a good physical description of the characters.Overall I think it's a very praiseworthy book and would highly recommend that you read it.
James gave Wolven 4 out of 5 and now plans to read The Eyeball Collector.

I did not like this book, because it was not exactly what I thought it
would be.
It sounded like the strange creature was quite scarey and spooky.
But it was OK!
If I were to choose one of these books to be a movie,
it would be this one,but if my next book is better I would pick it to be a movie.
Lucy gave Wolven 4 out of 5 and now plans to read Bodyswap: The Boy who was 84.
luke from greenhill primary
this book was really good because a boy called nat buys a dog(so he thinks) and changes his life forever.it is quite sad at the end as nat has to say goodbye to woody(wolven/dog).i would definately read this book again if i had the chance!
luke gave Wolven 5 out of 5 and now plans to read The Story of Matthew Buzzington.
Jacob from roundhay school of technology and language collage
Quite a good book for younger people but i just couldn't hook on because the story line was way too predictable. the characters were a bit gullable and the jokes just wern't funny well i say that but younger people might just enjoy the jokes ! I think this was quite a hard subject to write about. so i don't completely blame the author
Jacob gave Wolven 2 out of 5.

Abigail gave Wolven 5 out of 5 and now plans to read The Story of Matthew Buzzington.
Christopher from Pudsey Primrose Hill Primary School
Overall, I would say that Wolven is brilliant as it captures your mind and seems to take you in to a new dimension and there always seems to be a new adventure around the corner. All the characters are contrasting as well which adds to the story because first of all you hear about Werewolves and then you go on to hear about the Wolven and then there is Lucas Scale which is a hybrid between a Wolven and a Werewolf. It is so good I could read it over and over again for a lifetime.
Christopher gave Wolven 5 out of 5 and now plans to read The Eyeball Collector.
Brandon from Ninelands Primary School
