This book was so boring!!!! I hated it. The worst book I have ever read in my life! I didn't enjoy any of it, and I usually enjoy all of the books but this one was really bad!

I gave this book a 1 out of 5 because it was so boring.!! To be honest i thought london eye mystery was the worst book i have ever read. Some of the parts you got it but some of the other parts was good.At first Salim got lost on the London Eye and then he started to talk in the book.It was just so boring!!!!!!.

Carys from Blackgates

The London eye mystery kept you in suspense and made you want to read on.
Myfavorite character was Ted because he made the story exciting. I liked chapter 14 because he thought about the way he set it out and i thought it was fun.

Carys gave The London Eye Mystery 4 out of 5 and now plans to read Diary of a Wimpy Kid.

Jack from Blackgates Primary School

I liked the begining of the book but as I read on it got boring because it did the same things all the time. My favourite character was Kate because she was cheeky. My favourite part was the beggining of the book because it was exciting, the most exciting part. If i could change the book i would make the boring parts interesting.

Jack gave The London Eye Mystery 2 out of 5 and now plans to read Diary of a Wimpy Kid.

Molly from Blackgates Primary

The book was quite funny at the begining.I havent finished the book yet but so far it is good. The best bit is when Salim gets lost and Ant Gloria is terrifyed.I like how some of the chapters sound really interesting. My favourite character is kat because she is really cool with every thing.

Molly gave The London Eye Mystery 4 out of 5 and now plans to read Diary of a Wimpy Kid.

Christopher from Benton park

I am rating this book a 4 because a lot of it is very exciting but some of it can drag on a bit. There is always something happening and I like it because some of it is very factual. It was factual but not too factual that it was boring. It is very strange at first because Salim is there and the next minute he's not. Grandma comes down to help them find Salim, thats all I am going to say. Go on read it!

Christopher gave The London Eye Mystery 4 out of 5 and now plans to read Diary of a Wimpy Kid.

Chloe Anne from Benton Park

I really enjoyed this book. This book is a cool book. It will be suitable for Year 7 upwards. This book is about the London Eye ferris wheel which is scary because some people get on and never get off. This happens to Ted and Kat who watch their cousin get on but when all the other people exit, Salim has vanished. What can have happened to him and, more importantly, where is he now? Read the book and find out!

Chloe Anne gave The London Eye Mystery 5 out of 5.

Danniel from Lady Elizabeth Hastings

Emma from Primrose High School

Ilike the book but it was very confusing. The author made it sound very realistic and the characters were really life but the way they find Salim in the end is very weird. It was good but I wouldn't recommend it to many people if they get confused easily. =]=]=]=]=]

Emma gave The London Eye Mystery 2 out of 5.

Rosie from Ninelands Primary School

I think this book is ok because it wasn't that funny and i like books to be funny and when stuff makes me laugh it also makes me smile and happy

Rosie gave The London Eye Mystery 3 out of 5 and now plans to read Council of Evil.

Andrew from Ninelands Primary School

The Londen eye mystery was very good and had a great twist Ted has Mental haealth problams. I feel soory for Ted because he has no friends which is sad. But a the end he has six friends (Aunt Gloria, Salim, Kat ,Mum,Dad and Mr Sheperd.)Before he only had Mr Sheperd, Dad and Mum.I would like Ted as a friend because he seems a nice person. I would recomend this book and I am looking for another book by her. The book also says that people can be clever even with problems. I think his problem is Autism.

Andrew gave The London Eye Mystery 5 out of 5.

Chris from Ninelands Primary School

Sarah from Ninelands Primary

It was an ok book but im not very interested in weather so the fact that it whent on going on and on about it in most of the story was abit anoying.Other than the weather fault(which could of been an exta point for some people) i thought that the book was great, it was a page turner with the fact that it kept you geusing what was going to happen to salim next!!!

Sarah gave The London Eye Mystery 4 out of 5 and now plans to read Cosmic.

Jodi from Greenhill Primary School

I thought it was a great story. It was very scary because he way the little boy dissapeared from the eye was just scary

Jodi gave The London Eye Mystery 5 out of 5 and now plans to read Cosmic.

Louise from Ninelands Primary School

It was quite a good book, but it just kept going on and on and on. It felt like it would never end because you kept on guessing what had happened to Salim, but there was always a reason why it couldn't have happened. I thought that Ted must have to put up with a lot because nobody ever listens to him. It was funny when Ted said he thought Salim had spontaneously combusted, because I don't believe it's possible, after all we don't ever hear news of somebody sudenly catching fire all at once.

Louise gave The London Eye Mystery 5 out of 5 and now plans to read Cosmic.

Hannah from Ninelands Primary School

I thought that 'The London Eye Mystery' was not very good. It livened up towards the end but I still couldn't get along with it towards the beginning. Because of this, I am giving this book a 2 out of 5.

I think this book is a great book. I love its mystery point of view. I love all the characters and how they behave. I like how Salim and Ted are very smart and the way they talk about weather makes me laugh. It's a mystery book but also a bit comical so that's why I love this book.

Alice from Ossett School & Sixth Form College

I read the London Eye Mystery, again for the lowest age group. Ted the main character was pedantic and not very likeable. I think the author was trying to pull off writing like in the book "Incident with the Dog in the Night time" but it was too forced and sporadic. The only likeable character was Salim, really. He was the only one who showed much personality and was actually half real. I actually guessed most of the book, but I do tend to do that. It was pretty obvious, seeing as though if you're going to bother to mention something, its going to come back up later on (the barracks). The way the author kepts saying "my brain is on a different operating system to other people's" was just annoying. How many times do you have to say it? Maybe it's just me. but I found it a bit offensive. It was a bad portrayal of whatever syndrome he had, probably Aspergers. Overall. it was a good storyline, but not very well written. I'd say a B-

Alice gave The London Eye Mystery 4 out of 5.

Ami from Ossett School & Sixth Form

I enjoyed this book. At first I really enjoyed it but I got a bit bored towards the end. I thought it was a good mystery and interesting.

Ami gave The London Eye Mystery 4 out of 5 and now plans to read Cosmic.

Samantha from Ossett School & Sixth Form College

I thought the book was OK but not really my sort of book. The cliff hanger was good because if you go up on the London eye you are supposed to come back down so you do want to read on. It was a very long book and that is my reason for not liking it.

Samantha gave The London Eye Mystery 1 out of 5.

Olivia from sharp lane primary

i gave this book a 5 out of 5 because it is really good and i like to solve mysetries and work out what happened in the book so overall i thought it was a really good book as well as not understanding the tecnical stuff but i found it really good.

Helena from Ninelands Primary

Helena gave The London Eye Mystery 3 out of 5 and now plans to read Cosmic.

Katie-Lou from Ninelands Lane Primary

I think that there is a great twist to the storyline, and I would never have expected the outcome that was in 'LONDON EYE MYSTERY' I was not actually looking forward to reading this book at first, so I decided to save the best 'till last. Although my origanal opinion on this book was poor, I hadn't even finished the first chapter when I wasn't able to put the book down! I would love to be Teds friend because he is similar to me in many respects, dispite the autism(which is what I think his syndrome is). He is a very kind person and so is Aunt Gloria, Kat, Mum, Dad, Salim and all the others. In fact, I don't think there's a chrecter I wouldn't like to meet!

Katie-Lou gave The London Eye Mystery 5 out of 5 and now plans to read Council of Evil.

Hannah gave The London Eye Mystery 3 out of 5 and now plans to read Council of Evil.

Georgia from Alwoodley Primary School

I loved this book its totally cool. My favorite character is Kat because she is the typical average teenager and so cheeky, especially right at the beginning when she tries to hide the letter from school saying she was skipping school. All in all, this book is amazing it's the best book in the shortlist I LOVE IT!

Holly from Greenhill Primary School

This is only my opinion and I know that other people will think differently, but I'm going to say this plain and simple. This is the worst book I've EVER read. The only mystery is the mystery of how long it would be before it finished! It talked about unnecessary things. I would of been so much happier if it didn't have all that and it was shorter. I might of even considered a 4. But no. It had lots of rubbish in it.

Holly gave The London Eye Mystery 1 out of 5 and now plans to read Council of Evil.

Rianne from Boston Spa School

Remmy from Boston Spa High School

I was very surprised, actually at this one, because 'mysteries' are my kind of book. I just wanted to keep on reading- I couldn't stop! The pieces fit together really nicely- must have taken some very careful planning. And totally not scary.

Remmy gave The London Eye Mystery 3 out of 5 and now plans to read Cosmic.

Jasmine from Boston Spa School

The London Eye Mystery is a really good book.It will have you turning the pages non stop just to find out what happpens at the end.Brilliant story line and plot which gives it that added thrill. It has good characters all around which makes the book what it is all the more.Well built up dicriptions to make the book lively and fun to read. This is probably one of the best books in the catagory and has a chance to win in my opinion.

Darren from Boston Spa School

The London Eye Mystery was an almost perfect book. The plot itself was suitable and brilliant to a typical detective story. The added suspense often provided a very suitable book and made the book so difficult to put down. The only critism is the final solution which I think let the book down but not so much. It was definately one of the only 2 books I've liked so far.

Darren gave The London Eye Mystery 4 out of 5.

Sophie from Boston Spa School

The London Eye Mystery was amazing!!! It had loads of twists and turns to the story and made a FANTASTIC mystery book!!! It is all about a boy whos mind works differently to other peoples minds. But when his cousin goes missing on the london eye it doesnt matter how your mind works all that matters is getting him back safely and ALIVE!!!! A fantastic book for mystery lovers hard to solve and a 'cant put it down' sort of book, age doesnt come into it. People of all ages can enjoy this fabulous book!!!
