Ellie from St Joseph's Wetherby
Despite the fact that this book wasn't really my type, I absolutely loved it. I seemed to really connect with the characters: Otto, Leni and finally the cute little Anjelika. I also loved how the different emotions changed: one minuet it was really grief stricken and the next it would be really gruesome. The reason I didn't give it a full 5* was simply the beginning I found it quite boring with hardly any action. Nevertheless I would definitely recommend this to a friend!!
Ellie gave Hitler's Angel 4 out of 5 and now plans to read Poppy's Hero.
Maddy from Bracken Edge primary School
I know 1 seems mean, but Hitler's Angel wasn't my type. I started reading, got bored, then it got intresting, but then it was just really boring again so i stopped reading it. I wouldn't reccomend it.

Ellie from St Josephs Wetherby
I found this book really surprising as these kind of books aren't really my type but I loved it!! I felt as if I was connected to the characters: Otto, Leni and Angelika. I also enjoyed it because of the different emotions and feelings like at one point it would be seriously gruesome but then at other times really grief stricken and sad. The reason I didn't give it a 5 was simply the beginning I found the first 50 pages quite boring however overall I would rate it a 4+.
Ellie gave Hitler's Angel 4 out of 5 and now plans to read Poppy's Hero.

Tanisha from Alwoodley Primary School
A gripping World War Two adventure which goes behind the scenes of the more familiar stories. When two children are recruited for a mission by the British government they have no idea of the exceptional danger they will be facing. Rescuing a child and getting her safely out of Germany is a tall order. Both the Germans and the British prize this child highly. Who is she and can her under-age British saviours manage their mission? The action-packed plot twists and turns and there's pathos too as all three children understand the enormity of their situation.
Tanisha gave Hitler's Angel 5 out of 5.

I think there is only one word to describe this book - AMAZING !!! It is a brilliant book and I would definately recommend it to anyone who is in to war. It was easy for me to 'paint a picture' in my head with the description Bear Grylls has put into the book.Definate page-turner ! Everytime I put the book down I had to pick it back up again it was that good !

Caitlin from Hollybush primary school
I think that Hitler's Angel is an absolutely amazing book full of exitement and intense moments. I rated this fantastic book a 5 out of 5 because Otto and Leni do the most brave and frightening task you could even think of. This book is full of emotional moments and horrible moments too. I recommend this book to people from the age of 10-15 because, it's got big, long words in it. I don't think this book needs improving because i personally think this book is perfect and has nothing wrong with it that needs correcting!!!
Caitlin gave Hitler's Angel 5 out of 5 and now plans to read Gods and Warriors.
Rachel from Allerton C of E Primary school
Not my type of book. Dont like it.
Rachel gave Hitler's Angel 2 out of 5 and now plans to read Gods and Warriors.
Haleemah from hollybush primary school
I found this outstanding book extremely intense as it was just action after action. I've never read such an action-packed book in my whole entire life. If I was the author (William Osborne) I would be very pleased with myself. What an amazing book!!!
Haleemah gave Hitler's Angel 5 out of 5 and now plans to read The Demon's Watch.
Hannah from Morley St Francis Catholic Primary School
I enjoyed this book because I like to read stories that are set in different time periods. Also, the chapters in this book were great since they were all set in different charecters locations, such as Heydrich or Otto and Leni. Furthermore, the girl who they had to kidnap {Angelika} was a wingy, doubting girl who has to question everything that they were going to do.Also , the map at the front of the book that shows their escape rout spoils the readers enjoyment of figuring out the way that they went. The girl who they have to kidnap is Hitlers daughter,so she could be a secret weapon to the british army. But,the language in this book was like the type that you would use today, instead of what you would use in 1941.Some of the words in this book are german,so make sure you have your german dictionary with you!! I would recommend this book to tomboys {boyish-girls} and boys. I hope I can read this again,as it is the best book ever!
Hannah gave Hitler's Angel 5 out of 5 and now plans to read Gods and Warriors.
Holly from Horsforth Featherbank Primary School

Tom from Wigton Moor primary
This book is quite good there is a good plot and I like how the author didn't tell you the names of the characters until the end of the book and that he linked the book up to world war two.

Harry from Lawns Park Primary
It was just as good as Demon's Watch and Gods and Warriors. The story line was very exciting and kept me guessing, however, I think it would be too tragic for younger readers. This was a flawless story; 3rd best book so far!
Harry gave Hitler's Angel 5 out of 5 and now plans to read Granny Grabbers' Whizz Bang World.
Freya from St Josephs Cathoulic Primary Wetherby
This book is not my type of book.I found it hard to follow and I lost intrest when it started doing words in German therfore I didn't finish it. It started really soon without telling us anything about what was happening which i didn't like. The charecters were good and the idea was really clever. I really admire her imagination and good use of descripition. I think that this would be a great book for people who are intrested in war stories. My mum loved it though!
Freya gave Hitler's Angel 2 out of 5 and now plans to read Granny Grabbers' Whizz Bang World.

This was a truly mezmorizing book.It is definately one of my favorite bok of all time.I gave it a 5 because of the well descripted sentences and the carefully thought out storyline.Myfavourite bit about this book was when Heydrich kidnapped Otto AND leni saved him and showed Heydrich up!this deserves a 5 (:

This book was not very enjoyable and was very boring. My favourit character was lennie.I would change quite a lot in this book like more story writing and less speech.
Kaya gave Hitler's Angel 2 out of 5 and now plans to read Fright Forest.
Rohan from Horsforth Featherbank Primary School
I thought Hitler's Angel was a fantastic book! My favourite character was Otto because
he was very active and I like active people. My favourite part of the story was the part when Leni and Angileka got Otto out of the place where Heydrich trapped him.
I look forwad to reading many more books by William Osborne!
Rohan gave Hitler's Angel 5 out of 5 and now plans to read Granny Grabbers' Whizz Bang World.
Alex from Lawns Park Primary School
Hitlers Angel is a book about two teenagers aged 13 to 15 who are sent on a mission to kidnap a small 9 year old girl who could bring down Hitler.
Reinhard Heydrich was my favourite character because he was evil and clever. The characters were realistic to me because they were described excellently with powerful adjectives. My favourite part was when there was a gun fight on the mountain.
The plot of Hitlers Angel was shaky and pointless. I didn't like the romance between the two characters.
Altogether Hitlers Angel was a fantastic book and would recommend this book to lovers of action books. This was one of the best books i've ever read.
Alex gave Hitler's Angel 5 out of 5 and now plans to read The Demon's Watch.
Mea from Lawns Park Primary
I found this book very boring because it had too much speech in it and not enough of the story which made me yawn, although i still have a favourite character and this was Otto because of the way he never ever gave up on all the activitys he did. My favourite part was where they found out about the passport.
Mea gave Hitler's Angel 3 out of 5 and now plans to read Fright Forest.
Matthew from Lawns Park Primary
Hitlers Angel is a book about two 14-15 year olds who are sen't out to bring a girl to England who could bring down Hitler. The British send a boy and a girl to Germany, Bavaria, and it seems the British are doing good stuff, but are they? As clues suggest otherwise. The boy and girl are renamed Leni and Otto Fishcer and go to Bavaria and have deadly adventures and face horrible torture, and can they bring the girl to Switzerland? I loved this book because no scene was boring and even talking scenes were made exciting by sudden twists and exciting surprises. My favourite character was Ludwig Straniak because he was so querky and funny! So weird! He doesn't make any sense! I thought Reinhard Heydrich seemed very real to me and he was so evil, he seemed like a true monstrously evil Nazi! I loved the scene where Otto was being tortured (in a sick way) and the scene when Otto and Leni and the girl were in the barrel rolling down the mountain being chased by an avalanche! I can't pick any fault in this book; AT ALL! I loved this book and was one of the best books I've ever read!

This book is a great book. There is alot of tension especially the part where otto kills one of the guards and he is sick 3 times. The first 5 chapters aren't the best but when you get into it there is alot of gore and violence. Well doen to William Osborne for making this fantastic book. This is definitely for people aged 10 and over.

I found this book quite boring at the first but as i read on i got more entranced in the book!! It is definetley an incredibly adventure and great page turner! It is such an action packed book with a suprise on every page!!! I love this book - its so good and i admit that it is SOOOOO good that i am reading in bed when im suposed to be asleep!!!! This is definetley a MUST BUY! I love it and it is full of info about the war. I love books like this where it is in an event of history but it tells the story of people in the war! (Like les miserables where Victor Hugo singles out Jean Valjean etc.) I recomend this book to everyone! Even the people who arent in 9-11 or arent doing this activity!!!! This book is amazing! I gave it 4/5 because it was a bit boring but if you like gore there is only a little bit of gore but the charecters get hurt - ALOT! If you havent read this book You need to read it!!! :) :) :p :p :D ;p

This magnificent book dragged me in from the moment I read the first chapter, it was a delight to read and is definetly my type of book! It was a mystery/adventure just my type. i cant wait to meet William Osborne as it will be fun to talk about where he got him inspiration from. the story line was funny, moving, gross and most of all suspenseful! The end was terrrific I didn't expect that to happen!

I thought this book was brilliant to read and i loved it. Its about two people, Leni and Otto, who have to kidnap a little girl. All throughout the book is madness, sadness and drama and thats what i like in a book. I was predicting all the way through about how it might end but was shocked in a good day at how it did.I hope you write more books in the future
Jack gave Hitler's Angel 5 out of 5 and now plans to read Poppy's Hero.
Jenny from Guiseley
Hitler's Angel is a great book, I was always wondering what would happen next. There were quite a few nail-biting moments in the book where I wondered how Leni, Otto and other characters would get out of a situation. The action always kept the characters (and me!) on their toes. I hope there is a sequel because I would like to know some post-storyline events.

Olivia from Lawns Park Primary School
Hitler's Angel is a fantastic story about two teenagers who are sent on a top secret mission during WWII to find a little girl in Germany and bring her back to Britain as she could bring down Hitler.
The book is packed with action and is greatly written with some humorous bits thrown in at suitable moments. Otto & Leni are the two main character, both with strong, individual personalities and attitudes to match. I laughed and sometimes felt sad and annoyed because of how well the book is written and how the characters personalities developed. It was easy to love the story and hard to put the book down.
But I was expecting a deeper romance between characters. In the entire book, the only thing close to romance is a measly hand-holding.
Overall I rate this book 4/5. A brilliant book with lovable characters, funny moments and a dramatic ending.
Olivia gave Hitler's Angel 4 out of 5 and now plans to read Poppy's Hero.

Thank you for writing this amazing book. I loved it! The excitement was great, and the cliffhangers made me feel as though I was actually falling off a cliff... It was tense, and the humour was also fantastic. My favourite bit was when they fell in the lake. It reminded me of Skyfall and James Bond. I rate this book whopping 5 out of 5, and it would make a great film.

I LOVE THIS BOOK!!!!It's AMAZING!!! This is by William Osborne its the first of his books that ive read, but i would without a doubt read his books again. This book is a brilliant page turner and gripped me from the very first word!!! I loved the part where leni saved otto's life however the bit where otto had his hand stuct to the table by a knife made me cinge. There is always some thing going through your mind like who is Anjelika? And who is hitlers angel...

RUBY from ST.BENEDICT'S CATHOLIC PRIMARY SCHOOL
William Osbournes book Hitlers Angel gripped me from the first word. From the beginning it has you heart and soul pulled into the story. You are surrounded by the war torn areas of Germany, floors covered with shrapnel and discarded bombs.Book worms worldwide will love this book! Even if you dont love reading you will love this books. Leni is my favourite character because she is very brave and courageous. She shows this by not being afraid of doing things and still having a slight sense of humor despite the circumstances. It is a definate page turner.I could not wait for the time for me to be able to pick up the book and be surrounded by the war torn setting. This book kept me guessing. Who are Leni and Otto? Why have they been chosen for this task? Who is Angelika? Why do the British want her. And most of all, who is Hitlers Angel?
RUBY gave Hitler's Angel 5 out of 5 and now plans to read The Demon's Watch.

This incredible page Turner gave me anything i wanted it to!!!
Firstly the discriptive writing is outstanding William Osborne should be proud of what he has created to conclude to this my favorite part of this jaw dropper was when Otto and Link were strapped to the bomb doors and dropped behind enemy lines!!! I gave this book 4 out of a possible 5 due to the puzzling beginning however this tale of heroism can grip anyone's attention!!!

I hope William Osborne writes another part of Hitlers Angels and Otto and Leni do another adventure!

At the start I read it and thought this is boring and it will be ages until I finish, but as I read on I started to understand the plot better. I really loved this book and with the emphasis I couldnt stop reading it. Everytime I had a spare minute I'd sit down and wouldn't want to stop until it came to the point where my eyes were bulging from my head! I really wish he'de do Leni and Otto in a series of Hitlers Angel.X
Megan gave Hitler's Angel 5 out of 5 and now plans to read Granny Grabbers' Whizz Bang World.
Mia from Victoria Primary School
I thought Hitlers Angel was a bit of a heartwarming story between Leni and Otto. I think Leni and Otto kept letting a bit of their past slip out and when they were in trouble,I didn't know what was going to happen.I really didn't think Otto and Leni had the courage to do what they did. I cried a bit through it I couldn't believe it. At the start I thaught it was a bit boring but it became exiting as I went through. It was an amazing adventure story I loved it. There was a few unanswered questions I would like to ask. William Osborn is my new author and I want him to write another book Hitler's Angel 2, but make sure they don't die.
Mia gave Hitler's Angel 5 out of 5 and now plans to read Granny Grabbers' Whizz Bang World.

Ciara from St. Josephs Wetherby
I loved this heart-warming story ,it gripped me by the collar most of the way! I say "most" because I wasn't really satisfied with the start or the tragic finish. The begining made me unsure and confused ,it was like a jigsaw that I couldn't piece together. It left me with the unanswed question :who are these two kids?
After a few chapters I started to understand the plot and began to love the characters, Leni was probably my favorite due to her brave attitude! Sometimes the evil characters had some really weird names!
At some points the description was overwhelming (in a good way) it made me able to picture it amzingly- William Osbourn is super talented!!!
Unfortunatly I found the plot a bit unrealistic! Who in the right mind would send two innocent young teens (who I think were Jews) into a place where Hitler could easy swat them like flys?
Despite all this I throughly enjoyed the book!
Ciara gave Hitler's Angel 4 out of 5 and now plans to read Poppy's Hero.

William Osborne's Hitler's Angel is an AMAZING book. Once you start reading it's like a black hole and sucks you in. I would recommend it to 8 years plus, as it is quite violent. My favourite character is 'Otto' and my least favourite is evil 'Hitler'. This book could make a robot feel his heart warming, especially when Angelika...for Otto. William Osborne deserves millions of awards, and there should be a movie (hint)!

Hitler`s Angel is a fantastic book! William Osborne is a brilliant author!
It must be really hard for Otto and Leni to go on such a scary mission with only two weeks' training. I'd be terrified if I had to do that.
I like the book because it's exciting, scary and a real page-turner. Once I had started I just couldn't put it down.
I'd like to know what happened to Leni before she came to England and I'd also like to know more about who Angelika is. :-)

Hitlers Angel was a nail biting, adventurous story with a twist of romance.
The great thing about the book is that it doesn't tell you things it just gives you breadcrumbs (Hints.)
I had an instinct that something was going to happen and it did. Although it was predictable I didn't know if I was correct or not so the book intrigued me.
The book had a lot of tension and I can't wait until the movie comes out!

Millie from Hunslet St Mary's Primary School
When the story began I thought that it was going to be quite boring. I thought this becuase you didn't know Otto's or Leni's real names.I also thought that this was a good technique becuase it leaves you wandering who they really are. When Otto was running on the beach in Dunkirk I found it very interesting and detailed.
When the action beganI also found this interesting as when yo finished reading you wanted to read more. During the rescue mission there was a surprising twist that I did not except. This was very gripping and exciting.
Towards the end of the book all the missing peices came together and you found out Otto's and Leni's real indentitys. I thought the ending was very delicate and sesitive.
Overall I really enjoyed the book and would read another of William Osborne's books and would recomend Hitler's angel to all of my friends.
Millie gave Hitler's Angel 4 out of 5 and now plans to read Fright Forest.

Hitlers Anglel starts with a simple story but follows on to be quite a complicaed advencher. The two lead characters (otto and Lenni)have to overcome some of their greatest fears and take on full responcabillity, but can they do it?
I found the book very advencherous and realistic but sometimes I felt the characters pain and this made me sad but overall I thought it was a great book that all ages will enjoy.I hope I see anoher William Osborne book and enjoy it as much as I did this one.

Nadia from Thorner Primary
This book is about two children that have been asked to retrieve something important. The evil mastermind of WW2 is keeping a child prisoner. Will this be the child who can take Hitler down? Otto and Leni have escaped the Nazis once but now they are being pursued by Hitler and his evil assistant Heidrich. I really enjoyed this book because the characters were believable and this would probably have happened in Britains behind the scene action. I also liked the fact that there was always action right to the nail biting end. On the other hand, because I knew Hitler was defeated in the war that changed the tension. It wasnt as exciting as if you had read it before the war. Anyone who likes historical fiction will not be able to put this book down. I would recommend this book ages 9+ because if they are younger it might be a little bit too violent for them. I found this book very flowing and it enticed me into its pages.
Nadia gave Hitler's Angel 5 out of 5 and now plans to read Fright Forest.

I loved this book so much I want to read it again and again! William Osborne is a new author to me and I am going to look out for more of his books. This book is the best. As soon as I started reading it I knew I would love it lots. I found it extremely interesting, it helped that I have learnt about ww2 at school.
